If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen that I was banned from PayPal last week. They banned me for the same reason that they have banned so many other retro game mod shops, and that is because they are not smart enough to understand the difference between legal and illegal mods. They are completely ignorant on the issue, and they will not listen to their customers or even offer an appeals process for us to state our case.

 

PayPal’s ban of my business account was especially brutal because they also reported my company to Visa which means that other payment processors are unwilling to work with me now as well. I opened a Stripe account which is how I have been able to process payments for the last week, but I was banned from Stripe starting today because they found out that I had been reported to Visa as a high risk merchant. Currently I do not have payment processing enabled on my site, so you can not purchase anything from me here until I can find a payment processor that is willing to work with me under these conditions. I believe I should have payment processing back up and running in about a week, but until then the only way to purchase from me is my ebay store.
