The 27C322 to CX4 Cartridge adapter allows the use of 27C322 EPROMs on Mega Man/Rock Man X2 cartridges. This is perfect for making X2/X3 Multicarts, or for making Rock Man X2/Mega Man X2 multi language carts. It features a pair of 74HC247 multiplexers which convert the 16 bit data bus of the 27C322 EPROM into an 8 Bit data bus that the CX4 cartridge can understand. The design of the PCB allows this mod to be installed without removing the original mask roms from your cartridge, so it’s a lot easier to install than similar flash based mods that require the removal of the old mask roms. This mod also integrates a 74HC74 based reset circuit that lets you switch between Mega Man X2 and X3 by pressing the reset button on your SNES. No switches need to be installed on the cartridge so this is a NO CUT MOD.

This mod is designed specifically to fit the SHVC-2DC0N-01 cartridge PCB. This PCB is found in Mega Man X2 and Rock Man X2 cartridges only. This mod will not fit on a Mega Man X3 PCB. With that being said Mega Man X2 and X3 will both work perfectly fine on the Mega Man X2 PCB revision.

Keep in mind that if you need me to program your EPROM you must provide the ROM file that I will be programming. I will not provide you with a ROM file for obvious legal reasons. I have a post explaining how you can make your own properly formatted ROM for this board.

Processing time for orders is between 1 and 5 days. I assemble all of these boards by hand. When a product is listed in stock this means that I have all of the components to build the board, but it does not necessarily mean that the boards are already assembled. If I have boards ready at the time of your order then processing and shipping your item should only take 1 day. If I have to assemble one or more products in your order, processing and shipping could take up to 5 days. I appreciate your patience, I’m a one man show over here.

If you are sending an item in for professional installation service, my turnaround is usually between 2-5 days from the time I receive your shipment. This varies based on my workload at the time. Again, your patience is appreciated.
