N64 RGB JEWEL

The N64 RGB JEWEL is a universal RGB upgrade for the N64 that offers RGB output from the AV Multi out port, as well as the Deblur function that increases the sharpness of most N64 games. It also has IGR (in game routines) functionality enabled which allows you to reset the console and manually turn deblur on and off from the controller in controller port 1 using button combinations. This upgrade is designed to function in either standalone mode as an RGB upgrade, or in piggyback mode on a PixelFX Retro GEM for dual simultaneous output of RGB and HDMI.

This is a universal upgrade, meaning it can be installed on all N64 motherboard revisions regardless of region. The CPLD runs Borti4938’s N64RGBv1 firmware which is based on Tim Worthington’s original N64RGB project.

If you plan to install the kit yourself simply select Board Only in the drop down options. If you wish to send your console in for installation service, please also add Optional Professional Installation to your cart and I will provide shipping instructions via email after checkout. If you want me to install a Retro GEM at the same time as I am installing your  JEWEL you should also add the Optional Retro GEM Installation option to your cart, this option only covers labor, you will need to send in a Retro GEM with your console. If you would also like to have the capacitors replaced on your N64 motherboard, please also add the Optional Capacitor Replacement Service to your cart as well.
