Vewlix SEGA I/O Adapter Kit

The Vewlix SEGA I/O Adapter is a drop in adapter that allows the use of SEGA JVS I/O boards in Vewlix cabinets.

Due to the fact that Taito JVS I/Os are expensive, have poor availability, and have at least one known bug with input reporting that may cause compatibility issues with some games, the ability to use SEGA JVS I/O PCBs in Vewlix cabinets may be preferable to most. Taito I/Os only accept +12v power input, so this adapter board adds a voltage regulator to supply the +5v that the SEGA I/O needs. This adapter will allow you to use the common SEGA Type 1, 1.5, 3, and 4 JVS I/O boards in any Vewlix cabinet.

This kit includes the SEGA adapter PCB, the 60 pin IDC harness to link the adapter to the SEGA I/O, and a 3D printed adapter plate.

Features:

Adapts the Vewlix “G” control panel wiring harness to the 60 pin CN3 connector on SEGA model 1, 1.5, and 3 JVS I/O PCBs.
Has integrated 5v power regulation to convert the 12v only Vewlix power harness.
Built in coin validation resistors for cabinets that do not have coin mechanisms connected.

Notes:

This new version of the Vewlix to SEGA adapter no longer requires any cables because it is now an all in one design that plugs directly into your SEGA I/O. This combined with the smaller size results in a lower cost to manufacture and a lower price!

How this store works:

When a product is listed in stock this means that I have all of the components to build the board, but it does not necessarily mean that the boards are already assembled. If I have boards ready at the time of your order then processing and shipping your item should only take 1 day. If I have to assemble one or more products in your order, processing and shipping could take up to 5 days. I appreciate your patience, I’m a one man show over here.

If you are sending an item in for professional installation service, my turnaround is usually between 2-5 days from the time I receive your shipment. This varies based on my workload at the time. Again, your patience is appreciated.
