N64 THS7374 RGB Amp Board and Installation Service.
Compatibility Warning:
This amp is only compatible with early N64 models that contain the
VDC-NUS video encoder chip. Make sure that your console has this encoder chip before ordering. You can check by opening your N64 and looking at the chip circled in the second photo of this listing. If that chip says anything other than
VDC-NUS then your N64 is
NOT COMPATIBLE with this amp and will require the
Universal N64RGBv1 Upgrade.
Purchasing Options:
If you plan to install the amp yourself simply select Board Only in the drop down options, If you wish to send your console in for installation service, please also add Optional Professional Installation to your cart and I will provide shipping instructions after checkout. If you would also like to have the capacitors replaced on your N64 motherboard, please also add the Optional Capacitor Replacement Service to your cart as well.
Recommendations:
For video cables I recommend SNES C-Sync style SCART cables from Retro Access, Insurrection Industries, Retro Gaming Cables UK, or if you want to use component try the SNES component cables from HD Retrovision. Whatever you do please buy high quality cables!
How this store works:
Processing time for orders is between 1 and 5 days. I assemble all of these boards by hand. When a product is listed in stock this means that I have all of the components to build the board, but it does not necessarily mean that the boards are already assembled. If I have boards ready at the time of your order then processing and shipping your item should only take 1 day. If I have to assemble one or more products in your order, processing and shipping could take up to 5 days. I appreciate your patience, I’m a one man show over here.
If you are sending an item in for professional installation service, my turnaround is usually between 2-5 days from the time I receive your shipment. This varies based on my workload at the time. Again, your patience is appreciated.
