Description
WiiHDMI
The WiiHDMI kit runs on the GCVideo project by ikorb and provides a clean digital to digital HDMI output to the Wii. It supports all of the native output resolutions of the Wii, as well as linedoubled 240p and deinterlaced 480i. The WiiHDMI’s menus can be controlled using a Gamecube controller plugged into controller port 1, or it can also be controlled using an infrared remote. It’s the best way to get video out of the Wii and onto a modern LCD or OLED tv. The quality of the video output is superior even to the HDMI output of the Wii U’s backwards compatibility mode when running Wii games.
The kit includes:
1x Wii HDMI main board
1x HDMI port daughterboard
1x 150mm 20 pin flex cable
1x AVE-RVL Flex cable
Installation Instructions:
Check my Youtube video demonstrating the installation process.
Installation Options:
If you plan to install the kit yourself simply select “Board Only” in the drop down options, If you wish to send your console in for installation service, please also purchase either “Professional Install RVL-CPU-40,50,60, RVK-CPU-01,02″ or “Professional Install RVL-CPU-01, 20,30″ in addition to the “Board Only” option depending on which version of the Wii motherboard you have.
I can install the WiiHDMI kit on all models of Wii (except the Wii mini). Although it’s specifically designed to fit the RVL-CPU-40, RVL-CPU-50, RVL-CPU-60, RVK-CPU-01 and RVK-CPU-02, it does have accommodations to allow installation on older Wii motherboard revisions. Please check which model that you have prior to ordering and select the correct option in the dropdown. There is an additional charge for RVL-CPU-01, RVL-CPU-20, RVL-CPU-30 models due to the added complexity of installing the kit on these Wii motherboard revisions.
In order to check which motherboard revision you have just remove the battery from the bottom of the Wii and check what 2 digit number is printed on the motherboard inside of the battery slot. The 2 digit number will match the last 2 digits of the motherboard model number.
Ordering and Shipping Instructions.
When you place your order I will send you an email with instructions on where to ship your console. Please ship your console only, no controllers or cables. Once I receive your package I will perform the installation. My turnaround is usually 5-7 business days. When your installation is complete I will ship it back to you.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary depending on the size and weight of the packaging used when sending the console in for service. For customers in the United States of America I have calculated a shipping cost estimate that will cover the return shipping. For international customers I will have to calculate and send a separate invoice for return shipping on a case by case basis.
Note that in some cases return shipping may vary depending on the size and weight of your packaging. I have calculated a shipping estimate that should be accurate in most cases, but if your packaging vastly exceeds the estimated shipping cost I will need to invoice you for any extra shipping expenses that may occur.

Fantastic mod. Received it within a week or so. I was able to successfully install this using the video guide on a RVL-CPU-60 Wii. Mod works great and gives the best possible output on my Wii. The included jig made drilling the holes for the HDMI and IR super easy. The most difficult part of this whole procedure is the tear down and re-assembly of the Wii itself, so many unnecessary screws. I also like how two flex cables were included, one for the older version motherboards and one for the recommended versions. I contemplated installing this on a launch model Wii RVL-CPU-01 but watching one of your attempts it didn’t seem worth the hassle, but nice to know the option exists with this kit. Overall, it’s a great mod and I highly recommend it.
